What do you do when you find yourself needing to talk to a live agent at Experian, only to discover that after waiting on hold for awhile the phone eventually will end up being hung up on you and leaving you left where you started. This can be extremely frustrating especially when you need something done quickly. When the phone connects to their automated system it will ask you a few questions. First enter you SS#, then choose option 2 for “General questions about Credit.”, Choose option 1 “questions about your credit.”, then choose option 1 “Questions about your credit report.”, Lastly press 1 to be transferred to a live Experian agent. These processes change from time to time so we will update our content to reflect changes once we notice any variances.

When you call Experian pick a good time of the day preferably before it gets busy, usually between 10 and 12. They are open Mon through Friday 9am-5pm.

The site offers many other free services like their exclusive Experian Boost program, tools like identity theft protection and dispute help.
